Services

Our state-of-the-art Volumetric CT scans provide patients with high quality 3D images to offer valuable diagnosis for a variety of indications. These images combined with detailed health history and thorough clinical examination help to assure that our patients receive the highest quality care. Whether your practice is looking to outsource some of your craniofacial imaging or you have a fundamental need for more accurate images on a case-by-case basis, our goal is to assist you in treatment planning your patients. How we can help:

Implant Studies

These studies are used to determine placement of implants including the most appropriate implant type and angulation, as well as bone density and depth measurements. They are also used to determine if sinus lift or bone grafting is appropriate in areas of questionably insufficient bone. The CT images can be manipulated with certain software packages such as Nobel Guided Surgery™, Simplant™, and VIP/Implant Logic Systems™. The results can be communicated directly with a dental lab to assist in CT guided splint fabrication.

Bone Grafting Evaluation

Enhanced CT imaging will allow you to take the guesswork out of alveolar and craniofacial bone grafting.

Impaction Studies

These studies are ideal for determining tooth orientation within the alveolar bone, and in relation to adjacent teeth, the nerve canal, sinus walls and cortical plates.

TMJ Studies

These studies are ideal for patients that are suffering from TMD symptoms as well as those that require an updated view of the region later on in their treatment.

Pathology Study / Reconstruction

These studies are used to identify lesions and other pathological anomalies.

Sinus and Airway Studies

These studies enhance sinus and airway assessments and are ideal for identifying polyp and constricted airways.

Orthodontic Studies

These studies include 3-D view of dentition, maxilla and mandible, lateral cephalogram and panoramic image.

Endodontic Studies

These studies will support the identification of root canal relationships and root fractures.

Diagnostic Image Accessibility and Interpretation

Images are promptly available for referring practitioner interpretation as a printout or on a CD. Please check on the referral form the preferred method for viewing. Final printout or CD will be sent via US mail.

Radiologist Report and Consultative Services

Additional interpretation and reporting is available, by request, for those cases when a second professional opinion or a radiologist report is needed. We have contracted with a radiologist at the University of Minnesota for these professional services.

As shown in the slideshow above, our services include:

Implant Studies
These studies are used to determine placement of implants including the most appropriate implant type and angulation, as well as bone density and depth measurements. Bone Grafting Evaluation
Enhanced CT imaging will allow you to take the guess work out of alveolar and craniofacial bone grafting. Exact dimensions in various planes of space will allow precise bone graft treatment planning.

Impaction Studies
These studies are ideal for determining tooth orientation within the alveolar bone, and in relation to adjacent teeth, the nerve canal, sinus walls and cortical plates. Axial, sagittal and coronal views of the region of interest are included and may be limited to the mandible and/or maxilla.

TMJ Studies
These studies are ideal for patients that are suffering from TMD symptoms as well as those that require an updated view of the region later on in their treatment. Three dimensional views of the condyles, joint space and jaw function are included. Studies consist of coronal, sagittal and axial views of the temporomandibular joint and related areas.

Pathology Study / Reconstruction
These studies are used to identify lesions and other pathological anomalies. Axial, sagittal and coronal views are included. We also provide studies for reconstruction planning and for ordering 3-D Stereolithographic models for jaw reconstruction planning.

Sinus And Airway Studies
These studies enhance sinus and airway assessments and are ideal for identifying polyp and constricted airways. Axial, sagittal and coronal views of the maxillary sinus area and/or airway are included.

Orthodontic Studies
These studies include 3-D views of dentition, maxilla and mandible, lateral cephalogram panoramic image, photos and study models.

Endodontic Studies
These studies will support the identification of root canal relationships and root fractures.

Diagnostic Image Accessibility And Interpretation
Images are promptly available for referring practitioner interpretation on a CD. Please check on the referral form the preferred method for viewing. CD will be sent via US mail or give us a call and we will deliver it to your office.

Radiologist Report And Consultative Services
